NICHELCROM.COM PRIVACY AND COOKIE POLICY

In this webpage Nichelcrom Acciai Inox S.p.A. (hereinafter, the “Data Controller” or “Nichelcrom”) provides information about the personal data processing for those who visit this website or interact with it also by sending spontaneous communications to the contact details published therein. Such information is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Article 122 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”).

This Privacy and Cookie Policy does not apply to third-party websites that may be reached by links available on this website and for which behaviour Nichelcrom is not responsible or liable also in terms of data processing.

2 – CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA CONCERNED

2.1 Browsing technical data

The IT systems and programs used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet. This information is not collected to be associated with identified users, but by their very nature could, through processing and combination with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers that connect to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the operating system and computer environment. These data will be collected exclusively in the legitimate interest of, on one hand, allowing the user to enjoy efficiently the online contents and, on the other hand, allowing a proper website administration by Nichelcrom. These kind of data are stored for a few days and could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of computer crimes. 4 – MEANS AND PEOPLE INVOLVED IN DATA PROCESSING

The processing of your personal data is carried out mainly by means of electronic instruments. Procedural, technological, physical and organisational security measures are implemented to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the personal data, to prevent their loss or misuse also by protecting our processing systems and services from unauthorized access.

Your personal data will be processed by personnel belonging to the ICT staff and, when you contact Nichelcrom e-mail addresses, to the departments involved by the subject matter of your message. These people are trained in data protection and specifically authorized to handle your personal information.

Your personal data may occasionally be accessed, for technical reasons only and in their role as data processors designated by the Data Controller pursuant to art. 28 of the GDPR, by companies that provide hosting and development to this website or assistance to Nichelcrom ICT systems. Where necessary, the data may be disclosed or otherwise made accessible to third parties such as: i) public entities in fulfilment of a legal obligation, ii) consultants of the Data Controller such as, for example, notaries, lawyers, accountants, iii) shippers that may deliver documentation or material requested by you. The processing operations related to the users’ interaction with this website take place in Italy at the offices of the Data Controller and/or at those of the suppliers who are granted technical access to assist and maintain this website and the Nichelcrom ICT systems.

If we may need to use ICT services providers located outside the EU or the European Economic Area (EEA) that could have access to some personal data of the users of this website, the Data Controller will provide you with full information and will take every appropriate contractual and non-contractual measure to ensure an adequate level of protection of your personal data in accordance with and in the manner indicated in Chapter V of the GDPR and/or in other data protection provisions applicable at the time. You can always ask for more information about possible data transfer to non-EU/EEA third parties by sending a request to privacy@nichelcrom.com.

6 – MINOR AGE

This website does not provide information, features or services dedicated to minors.

If the Data Controller finds that personal data has been submitted by a minor or is referred to a minor, such personal data will be deleted immediately.

7 – RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

As the data subject, in accordance with Articles 15, 16, 17, 18 and 21 of the GDPR you have, among the others, the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data collected and processed by the Data Controller. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority if you think your data have been processed unlawfully.
